Viking Line changes the Viking XPRS timetable due to customer feedback

Because of customer requests, Viking Line will change the timetable of their Viking XPRS vessel starting 12 February. The journey will start an hour earlier, and the same timetable will be in use every day of the week. This means that full-length day cruises will be possible on Sunday as well.

Viking XPRS will start travelling between Helsinki and Tallinn according to the new timetable on 12 February. Having received timetable change requests from different customer groups, Viking Line decided to change the timetable that had been in use for a decade.

We will change our departures to one hour earlier. This means that the day cruise will return an hour earlier, even though travellers still have as much time in Tallinn as before. Weekend travellers can still come to the ship after work, since we will be leaving from Helsinki at 8.30 p.m. We want to offer our passengers a pleasant and relaxed trip to Tallinn and the opportunity to enjoy delicious food and inexpensive shopping on the way, says Kaj Takolander, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Viking Line.

The new timetable means that the day cruise will return earlier than before, even though it will continue to set off at a pleasant time in the morning. Connections to different cities will be even smoother in the future, both in Helsinki and in Tallinn.
