Hilton Group plc has acquired in aggregate more than 90 per cent of the
shares and votes in Scandic Hotels AB, through inter alia a public
offer, why Scandic Hotels has applied for de-listing from
Stockholmsbörsen of the company's shares. The last day of trading in the
Scandic share will be July 6, 2001.
