Sweco in framework agreement with Statnett for upgrading Norway’s electricity grid

Sweco has signed several framework agreements encompassing project planning, engineering, and project and construction management for Statnett, the state-owned Transmission System Operator in Norway. The contract period is four years, with an estimated volume for Sweco of more than 500 MSEK, and a potential four-year extension.Statnett aims to double the transmission grid investments in the coming years, with support from Sweco experts and other parties.
