Gjensidige acquires Falck’s roadside assistance

Gjensidige Forsikring ASA has on 3 December 2021 agreed to acquire 100 per cent of the shares in Falck Räddningskår AB, including subsidiaries in Norway, Finland, Estonia and Lithuania (Falck RSA Nordic & Baltics) from Falck Investment Sverige AB (a subsidiary under Falck A/S), for SEK 1.4 billion on a debt and cash free basis. Falck RSA Nordic and Baltics is a leading roadside assistance provider with nationwide franchise networks in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia and Lithuania. Gjensidige Forsikring ASA and AMF Pensionsförsäkring AB divest Oslo Areal

Gjensidige Forsikring and the Swedish occupational pension company AMF Pensionsförsäkring AB have entered into a Share Purchase Agreement with Entra ASA for the sale of the commercial real estate developer Oslo Areal (“OA”). The parties own 50 per cent each in OA. The purpose of the sale is to create further room for OA's strategic development. Gjensidige Forsikring ASA and AMF Pensionsförsäkring AB contemplate divestment of Oslo Areal

Gjensidige Forsikring and the Swedish occupational pension company AMF Pensionsförsäkring AB own 50 per cent each in Oslo Areal. The parties are contemplating the divestment of Oslo Areal (OA). The Board has decided to distribute excess capital of NOK 2,000 million, corresponding to NOK 4.00 per share.
