ISG Prepares Innovative Restaurant Facility at Styal Prison
ISG has been awarded a two-part, £1.5 million contract by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to create an innovative rehabilitation and training facility, and additional inmate accommodation at Styal Prison in Greater Manchester. The project represents ISG’s latest win as part of the MoJ’s Strategic Alliance Framework. The first element of the scheme sees ISG convert and upgrade a former chapel building, which will become ‘The Clink’ - the fourth restaurant of its type to open at HMP establishments across the UK. The Clink will serve food to the public, prepared and cooked by prison inmates.
