Keliber Performs Well in Emissions Comparison
Keliber has analysed the CO2 emissions generated by its future production in two studies. Based on the comparative study, Keliber’s lithium hydroxide will have a smaller carbon footprint than most of the competitors’ products. The production is planned to begin in 2024.Keliber benefits from its integrated production process. The ore is extracted and processed at less than 70 kilometres from the lithium chemical plant, where the refining process is energy efficient. More than half of the electricity from the Finnish national grid is generated from renewable energy sources. In addition,
