Dutch TeliaSonera companies subject to preliminary investigation

Two of TeliaSonera’s Dutch holding companies, TeliaSonera UTA Holding B.V. and TeliaSonera Uzbek Telecom Holding B.V., are subject to a preliminary investigation concerning bribery and money laundering. TeliaSonera’s operations in Uzbekistan are among the holdings of the two entities.The Dutch authorities carried out searches at the companies during on March 11 to obtain access to documents.
