Talkpool and partners are launching the world’s first smart floor drain
Talkpool participates in an IoT project to develop embedded wireless water leakage detectors integrated with floor drains. This solution address part of the 5 billion SEK annually cost from water damages in Sweden (of which 3 billion SEK on insurance costs). The IoT water leakage detector can reduce cost by detecting potential damages earlier. The project has currently passed the testing phase, where full floor sections have been built up with the leakage detectors, floor drains and water seal.
