Total of 77 applications for SSAB’s Swedish Steel Prize 2015
An impressive 77 applications from around the world have been received for the Swedish Steel Prize, which SSAB will award for the 17th consecutive year.The Swedish Steel Prize was established by SSAB in 1999 to recognize and reward creative, innovative products or solutions that utilize high-strength steel. For SSAB it is a way to inspire and disseminate knowledge about high-strength steel and how it can be used to develop stronger, lighter and more sustainable products. No less than 77 companies have submitted applications for the competition. This is a higher figure than for many years.
