New commitment to research and remember events of genocide
Researchers from Staffordshire University’s Centre of Archaeology have pledged to work with the Srebrenica Memorial Center to shed new light on the worst genocide to have occurred in Europe since World War 2.In just five days in July 1995, more than 8,372 men and boys – all Bosniak Muslims – were murdered in Srebrenica and buried in mass graves by Bosnian Serb soldiers.
