Irish National Police selects Saab’s SAFE Command & Control Solution
Saab has signed a contract with the Irish Police Service, An Garda Síochána, to provide them with the SAFE unified command, control and communications platform. This will be the first deployment of SAFE to a national police force.Saab and An Garda Síochána will commence the delivery in December 2020 with the solution expected to go live within two years, followed by a support l contract of 5 years, with option to extend to 10 years. The solution will be live across 4 control rooms in the Republic of Ireland and the Garda’s 14,000+ officers will access SAFE remotely.
