Veidekke ASA: JV Veidekke Implenia to build major interchange

In a joint venture with Implenia, Veidekke has been awarded a contract by Trafikverket to build a major interchange at Hjulsta Södra as a part of Förbifart Stockholm. The project is a turnkey contract valued at SEK 737 million. Among other things, the contract comprises a 650 metre bridge across Mälarbanan, Bällstaån and the E18 motorway. A further 70 metres of bridge and a 200 metre tunnel are also part of the contract. Sweco to continue feasibility study of Helsinki-Tallinn tunnel project
