SBB and K2A secure major rental agreements with the Swedish Police Authority and the Swedish Prison and Probation Service

Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (“SBB”) and K2A Knaust & Andersson Fastigheter AB (“K2A”) have jointly signed rental agreements with the Swedish Police Authority and the Swedish Prison and Probation Service to let a total of approximately 42,500 square metres of space in Västerås. The total annual rental value of the agreements is just over SEK 95m with a contract term of 20 years. Construction of the property is scheduled to begin in 2023 and occupancy is planned for 2026. Taken together, the agreements are the largest office letting in Sweden since 2019 and one of the five largest
