Mott MacDonald has appointed Richard Shennan as Group practice manager for its buildings business. Richard will help develop and win business, assist with the quality of project delivery and customer service and promote collaboration across the whole of the consultancy. Richard was previously managing director of Fulcrum Consulting, which joined the Mott MacDonald Group in 2009. The Mott MacDonald designed £13.5 million environmentally-friendly Foresterhill Energy Centre at NHS Grampian’s new health campus in Aberdeen, UK, has secured a BREEAM Excellent rating score of 83.32%. The centre was also named best industrial building at the BREEAM Awards 2012.
