NCC sells BREEAM-certified office in Aarhus for SEK 147 million

NCC Property Development has sold the Skejby Company House III office project in Århus, Denmark, for SEK 147 million. The buyer is the property management company C.W. Obel Ejendomme A/S, which will take possession of the property on its completion on September 30, 2011. The sale will positively affect earnings in the third quarter of 2011.

Skejby Company House III comprises 5,900 square meters of office space and is the first Company House in Denmark to be awarded the Very Good classification according to the BREEAM certification. The property will be classed as a Green Building, which entails achieving energy consumption 25 percent lower than the requirement of building regulations.

C.W. Obel Ejendomme A/S has previously acquired Skejby Company House I and II. On the completion and sale of Skejby Company House III, the Skejby Company Park development will be completed and consist of 20,000 square meters of office space.

About 40 percent of Skejby Company House III has already been leased. NCC Property Development is responsible for leasing the remaining 60 percent.
