Finland is an attractive market, given the strong wind resource, depth of Nord Pool, and ongoing corporate power purchase agreement activity. Brännliden offers an outstanding wind resource and, at an average wind speed of over 8 m/s at hub height, the site represents one of the best onshore wind power locations in the Nordics. With the completion of another wind farm in Sweden with OX2, Fontavis again demonstrates its competence and ability to generate attractive deals and successfully implement them with the right partners

We are pleased that we were able to implement another project with Fontavis. As with the Stigshöjden wind farm that was commissioned last autumn, the cooperation during the construction phase worked very well. We are now committed to manage the wind farm for Fontavis to ensure a safe operation and to deliver the greatest possible return of investment

OX2 acquired the project rights in 2019 and has, since then, continued to develop the project. Thanks to this we can now sign the contract with ORIT and begin the construction process. We have ensured that the wind farm can deliver electricity at competitive prices

OX2 plays a major role in the energy transition based on competitive renewable energy. As a result of the Ljungbyholm wind farm deal we now have generated more than 2,3 GW wind power in Europe
