Inwido acquires the premium brand of Danish windows – Bøjsø Døre & Vinduer

Inwido, Europe’s largest supplier of windows, acquires one of the most exclusive Danish window manufacturers, Bøjsø Døre & Vinduer. Founded in 1972 the company now has some 40 employees and a turnover of DKK 49 million in 2016. Inwido acquires 100 percent of the shares for DKK 40 million on a cash- and debt-free basis, with immediate effect.Originally a small carpentry company, Bøjsø Døre & Vinduer was founded by Bøje Sørensen in 1972. Today the company employs some 40 persons and has a production facility located near Billund in Denmark. In 2016 the company had a turnover of DKK 49 million.

Finnish power distribution utilities and street lighting owners utilise their options to extend current frame agreements with Eltel. Caruna Oy and Caruna Espoo Oy use their 14-month options to continue the current frame agreements from the beginning of 2018. Power plants could cut a third of their emissions by using solar energy

Led by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, the COMBO-CFB project has developed a new innovative concept to increase solar energy production in the energy system.
