Hingham care home brews up support for Dignity Action Day
A traditional English tea party is being served to residents of a care home in Hingham who are putting their hearts into supporting Dignity Action Day on Monday 2 February from 2.00pm-4.00pm. While enjoying cake and a cuppa, each Hassingham House Care Centre resident will write their own definition of dignity on a paper heart made by the staff, the aim being to encourage people to discuss what dignity means to them. Dignity Action Day is a national initiative led by the Dignity in Care Campaign and its key partners to highlight the importance of preserving the dignity of people in care.
