Sweco wins contract from Swedish Rail Administration
The Swedish Road Administration and the Swedish Rail Administration are carrying out a joint project to build a double-track railway and four-lane highway between Gothenburg and Trollhättan in western Sweden. Sweco has been awarded a contract worth EUR 1.2 million to perform detail planning on parts of the new railway alignment.Sweco has been commissioned to prepare construction documents for the railway section between Agnesberg and Marieholm, which among other things contains new railway bridges over the E45 European Highway and the Lärjeån River.
