Expanded broadband network in Örebro County to reach even more residents

An even larger number of households and companies in Örebro County will soon have access to broadband. Municipalities in the county have signed a supplementary agreement with the network provider, TeliaSonera Network Sales, for a build-out of the existing broadband network. Statoil extends Aker Kvaerner's maintenance work in the North Sea

Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner in Stavanger signed the major maintenance and modification contract for the Tampen area with Statoil on March 21, 2002. The contract included primarily the Statfjord and Gullfaks fields. On August 1, 2003 the contract was extended to include the two Snorre platforms. With the new option for Visund, Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner is responsible for maintenance and modification of all the nine manned platforms in the Tampen area; six fixed and three floaters. Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner has an annual turnover of around NOK 800 million on Tampen.

Volvo chooses Alfdex – the new environmental solution for cleaning of crankcase gases

The Volvo Group has signed a development and delivery agreement involving the Alfdex system, developed by Alfdex AB, jointly owned by Alfa Laval and Haldex. The order value is approximately MSEK 400 during a five year period and serial deliveries are estimated for end of 2005.The Alfdex-system built around Alfa Laval’s unique knowledge of centrifugal separation, offers the market a very efficient removal of oil droplets and soot particles from the ventilation air in the diesel engine crankcases, so called crankcase gases.
