Statutory negotiations at Nokian Tyres’ Finnish factory ended

TESTS CONFIRM THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ORE SORTING IN THE SILVER MINE

The trial processing of ore from the Silver Mine with Outotec-Tomra´s XRT ore sorter increased grade- and metalcontents in plant feed remarkably. Silver content from low-grade ore samples increased about 1.9 times and of average silver-ore 1.43 times.The silver recovery from low-grade ore-samples was 88 % and for average ore-grade samples 89 % (see table below).  The tests were performed with coarse ore material (30-70 mm) which forms ca 70% of the crushed ore. Late payments hampers growth and job creation – yet 37% of debts in Europe remain unpaid after 30 days

Many of Europes business owners struggle from the fact that their clients are unable to pay their debts on time, with negative effects on financial growth and job creation as a result. In business to business transactions the average payment term given is 28 days, still 37% of all outstanding debts are unsettled after 30 days.Costs for late payments are high; all in all 3.1% of yearly revenues has to be written off because companies do not receive sufficient payment. As previously announced, affiliates of Blackstone (Blackstone) has entered into an agreement to acquire 34 percent of Agasti’s operational activities for NOK 250 million.
