Sandvik makes successful bond issue

Sandvik AB has made a successful bond issue in the Swedish capital market of 4 billion SEK. The bonds are issued under the Swedish Medium Term Note Program and evenly split in two tenors maturing January 14, 2020 and January 14, 2021. The issues are at both fixed and floating rates. “The market showed big interest in participating in the issue and we are very pleased with this transaction securing long-term funding at attractive terms”, says Anders Örbom, Group Treasurer at Sandvik. Bookrunners for the transaction were Danske Bank, Handelsbanken Capital Markets and Nordea Markets.
