Increased production of lumber in the US, lower prices and higher importation from overseas in 2013

Higher lumber consumption in the US has resulted in both increased domestic production and a rise in importation of lumber in 2013, reports the Wood Resource Quarterly. £9 million Fund Announced for Greater Lincolnshire

News release 20th December 2013Rural businesses in Greater Lincolnshire will benefit from nearly £9 million of funding thanks to the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership  (LEP). The LEP has been allocated £8,782,191 from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) to help stimulate growth, develop skills and boost the local economy through rural businesses.
