Overseeing standardsKim Lemaux, chief of police for The University of Texas at Arlington, has been appointed to the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement by Gov. Greg Abbott. As a state regulatory agency, the commission’s mission is to establish and enforce standards to ensure that the people of Texas are served by highly trained and ethical law enforcement, corrections and telecommunications personnel.
