My studies show that the size of intertidal marine snails is important not only for survival but also for mating. There is no underlying theme, however there is a material tactility that follows the works, a discovery irradiating from the medium of photography, bouncing from a mirror and changing form. But, we really don’t know why it is like this, and sadly our data does not let us tease out the causal explanations.

The material enticed me to create something big, an architectural furniture, says Nihan Aycan. I explored different ways of creating and erasing space and (un)spaced plays with the sense of privacy through its abstract and graphic forms.
From a wider societal perspective, the study brings attention to the question of how children’s voices are included in the discussion on how to make everyday life less stressful and increase children’s wellbeing.
With this project I hope I can make people aware that they can generate new ideas and find solutions to problems if they dare to discuss them with others.
Through these open objects I hope to arouse the curiosity of the recipient and a dialogue with the objects of their purpose.
