    Anders Nyberg, CEO of Apotek Hjärtat, has announced his decision to retire during the fall of 2021. ICA Gruppen has initiated the process offinding a successor.     Investment in Min Doktor completed

    ICA Gruppen, through Apotek Hjärtat, has completed its investment in 42% of the shares in Min Doktor, in accordance with the agreement communicated on 13 September 2018.The acquisition was contingent upon the fulfilment of customary terms and regulatory approval. All terms have now been met. ICA Gruppen’s investment in Min Doktor consists of a cash capital contribution of SEK 335 million plus ICA Gruppen’s other contributions, including the Minutkliniken business, which is valued at SEK 225 million.     Apotek Hjärtat, a wholly owned subsidiary of ICA Gruppen, has now completed the sale of its care and nursing business (Vård och omsorg). The buyer is ApoEx, which is active in the same areas. The purchase sum of SEK 62 million is in line with the book value after transaction-related costs.Vård och omsorg is a business area of Apotek Hjärtat that provides pharmaceuticals and related services to the healthcare sector in several regions and county councils, as well as to a number of private healthcare providers.     In January, ICA Gruppen’s acquisition of Apotek Hjärtat was completed and during the spring Cura pharmacies and Apotek Hjärtat have been merged into a single company. It has now been decided that the new company will be named Apotek Hjärtat and have a new graphic profile which includes the ICA symbol as part of the new logotype.As a first step, all units within Cura pharmacies will be reprofiled.     Anders Nyberg, previously CEO of Apotek Hjärtat, has been appointed CEO of ICA Gruppen’s pharmacy operations.     Swedish Competition Authority approves acquisition of Apotek Hjärtat

    The Swedish Competition Authority has decided to approve ICA Gruppen’s acquisition of Apotek Hjärtat without restrictions. This means that conditions for the acquisition have been met. The acquisition is expected to be completed on 15 January.Approval of this deal also means that the work of integrating Cura pharmacies and Apotek Hjärtat can now start.     Swedish Medical Products Agency approves ICA Gruppen’s acquisition of Apotek Hjärtat

    ICA Gruppen’s acquisition of Apotek Hjärtat is subject to approval from the Swedish Medical Products Agency and the Swedish Competition Authority.
