    The Swedish Life Saving Society Varberg strengthening their rescue capacity with a RescueRunner system

    The Swedish Life Saving Society Varberg has ordered a RescueRunner system och personal equipment for their local operations in Varberg.Already in the late 1950s there were people who were trained in saving lives in drowning accidents and that during weekends with fine weather wandered on the beaches of Varberg. These were people who could rescue on their own initiative and in their spare time without any compensation.     Safe at Sea starts development of ElEcoRunner in collaboration with the Swedish Sea Rescue Society.

    Safe at Sea AB (publ) starts the development of a completely new electric and fossil-free powertrain, called ElEcoRunner.The RescueRunner system is used by the Swedish Sea Rescue Society in rescue operations at sea and today the organization has about 50 RescueRunners which are powered by gasoline engines. In the ElEcoRunner project, Proof of Concept will be implemented with a RescueRunner platform equipped with a new electric and fossil-free powertrain.     Another RescueRunner ordered by the Swedish Sea Rescue Society (SSRS)

    We are happy to announce that the Swedish Sea Rescue Society (SSRS) order one new RescueRunner.SSRS is the organization with the largest RescueRunner fleet in the world. Today SSRS have more than sixty RescueRunners operational at their 69 rescue stations. Some of the RescueRunners have been in service for more than ten years.  SSRS once developed the RescueRunner to reach shallow and rocky areas where other boats cannot go. SSRS is not only a customer to Safe at Sea, they are also a partner when it comes to development and training.   The RescueRunner will be delivered in Q4 2019.

    Mandal Red Cross Hjelpekorps extend their fleet of RESCUERUNNERs

    The Mandal Red Cross Hjelpekorps are increasing their water rescue capacity and have chosen to invest in yet another RescueRunner system.The Mandal Red Cross Hjelpekorps is a rescue station in southern Norway with volunteer personnel.     Fire Technologies Eurl. becomes a new distributor for Safe at Sea AB in France and invests in a FireRunner.

    Safe at Sea AB has signed a new distributor agreement with Fire Technologies Eurl. on the French market.     Icelandic Sea Rescue (ICE-SAR) invests in two new RescueRunners

    Bjorgunarsveitin Geisli, the ICE-SAR unit based in Fakrudsfjordur on Iceland has decided to renew and extend their RescueRunner fleet with two new RescueRunners.ICE-SAR has 99 rescue units, located throughout Iceland. They comprise over 3,000 volunteers who are always on standby 24/7 for emergencies. The rescue teams are specialized in search-and-rescue both on land and at sea.     Polish SAR invests in seven RescueRunner systems

    After evaluating and testing the RescueRunner system since 2015, the Polish SAR (search and rescue) organisation has placed an order for seven RescueRunners.JP Marine, Safe at Sea's polish distributor has received an order for seven RescueRunner systems that will be delivered to the Polish SAR organsistaion between august-september 2018. They purchased their first unit already in 2015 and has since been evaluating and testing the system thoroughly.     The Swedish Sea Rescue Society (SSRS) has decided to invest in two(2) more RescueRunners to extend their exisiting fleet and capacities.We are both proud and delighted that SSRS decides to extend their already exixting fleet of approximately 50 RescueRunners with two more boats. These new RescueRunners will be delivered in May 2018 and immediately be put into operations.     The Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue orders RescueRunner

    The Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue have ordered one RescueRunner for installation on their new 22 meter rescue vessel in the Ulstein Class.The RescueRunner will be delivered in August 2018, for use as deckboat on board the new Ulstein Class Vessel, that currently is being built at Swede Ship Marine. The order value is approximately 450 000 SEK.     German life saving organization DLRG continues to invest in RescueRunner systems

    Safe at Sea AB’s (publ) close cooperation with DLRG (Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft e.V) has resulted in yet another order of a RescueRunner system which will be used in DLRG’s continuous strive to save more lives on the German beaches, lakes, rivers and sea.During 2017 the relation with DLRG was established and quickly resulted in an initial order involving both a RescueRunner system as well as an Operator’s training for four of their lifeguards. It is now  very encouraging to receive a second order from this professional life saving organization which has almost 560,000 members
