The Instalco company, Ventpartner, has signed an agreement with Skanska for the ventilation work in conjunction with construction of a new building for specialist psychiatry at Västervik Hospital. It is a partnering project involving Skanska, Region Kalmar and other partners.The assignment for Ventpartner has an order value of around SEK 47 million, including the design and planning that has been done. During 2021, Posiva's EKA project, comprising of the construction of an encapsulation plant and an underground final disposal facility for the disposal of spent nuclear fuel, has progressed as planned.In May, the excavation of the first five actual deposition tunnels – which are accessed via the central tunnels – was started in ONKALO at a depth of approximately 430 metres.
