The detection of proteins and peptides is necessary in many clinical diagnostics applications and has been of high importance during the pandemic. Detection using antibodies is well established due to their high specificities and selectivity. However, they have limited chemical- and physical stabilities concerning shelf lives and transport. This paper describes the development of synthetic antibodies with high stability, and the comparable specificity and selectivity for commercially available antibodies.The team of Prof. Nicholls at the Linnaeus University describes how they have developed
