Children show emotions and understanding of Covid-19 in their lockdown drawings
Children’s drawings undertaken at the height of Covid-19 revealed a high level of emotions, knowledge and understanding of their pandemic experience, according to researchers at Staffordshire University.The study of children’s drawings was open to participants aged 4 – 14 in all parts of the UK and carried out entirely in the home. Children were simply asked to draw a picture about their life since coronavirus struck. Pictures of the drawings were then uploaded to a secure site where parents were asked to complete some demographic and situational questions.
