KONGSBERG AUTOMOTIVE REPORTS Q3 2021 RESULTS

Highlights of the third quarter: · Revenues came in at MEUR 267.4, MEUR 12.2 (+4.8%) higher than last year’s third quarter, including positive currency translation effects of MEUR 3.1. · Adjusted EBIT amounted to MEUR 5.7, which was MEUR 8.2 lower than in Q3 2020. Hexagon Purus receives order from North American customer for a hydrogen fuel-cell Class-8 drayage truck

Hexagon Purus has received a contract for a hydrogen fuel-cell electric (FCEV) Class-8 drayage truck from a North American customer. The order includes a service and support program that incorporates performance monitoring and reporting of the FCEV truck vs. current diesel drayage trucks. The contract has a value of approximately USD 1.2 million (approx. NOK 10 million). Driving energy transformation Hexagon Purus will provide the complete vehicle integration which includes the electric drivetrain, and a full suite of Hexagon Purus solutions including a 700 bar hydrogen storage system

EBITDA for the third quarter increased by 24 percent

THIRD QUARTER JULY-SEPTEMBER · The Group’s net sales amounted to SEK 202.3 (175.4) million, an increase of 15 percent. · The Group’s EBITDA was SEK 49.5 (35.1) million, an increase of 41 percent. Adjusted for one-time income[*)], the increase was 24 percent. · The EBITDA margin was 24 (20) percent. Adjusted for items affecting comparability[*)], the margin was 19 (17) percent. · Profit after tax from continuing operations amounted to SEK 25.7 (13.4) million. · Earnings per share amounted to SEK 1.8 (0.8). · Cash flow from operating activities was SEK 23.2 (3.5) million.
