Rejlers part of extensive depot renewal project for Metropolitan Area Transport Ltd in Helsinki
Rejlers Finland has won an alliance-based contract to modernize the Koskela railway depot, a key step towards Helsinki's ambition to be climate-neutral by 2030. The project is in line with the expansion of the light railway network in the metropolitan area, addressing the need to update aging train depots, some of which are 80 years old.The Koskela depot, a central facility for Helsinki's light railway, will serve approximately a hundred vehicles. Rejlers is responsible for the technical design of the depot, including energy-, electrical- and mechanical design, with the development phase
