Grants from Gasum Gas Fund for 2020 are open for applications

The energy company Gasum provides grants to researchers every year. Research, technology and innovations play key roles in the journey towards a clean and sustainable Nordic gas ecosystem. Skanska builds advanced surgical pavilion in Manhasset, USA, for USD 238 M, about SEK 2.3 billion

Skanska has signed a contract with North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) to construct the new advanced surgical pavilion at their campus in Manhasset, New York, USA. The contract is worth USD 238 M, about SEK 2.3 billion, which will be included in the US order bookings for the fourth quarter 2019.The new 26,800 square-meter pavilion will replace and expand NSUH’s existing operating rooms, Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, Neurological Intensive Care Unit, and provide core and shell space for future use. Finavia airports had 26 million passengers in 2019 – a year of moderate growth in air traffic

2019 was a busy year at Finavia’s airports even though growth in air traffic was more moderate than in previous years. A total of 26 million passengers (+4,2%) travelled on scheduled and chartered flights.Last year, 21,9 million passengers (+4,9 %) travelled through Helsinki Airport, the largest international airport in Finland. The number of passengers using Finavia’s other airports increased to a total of 4,2 million (+0,6 %).
