‘MUSIC IN HOSPITALS’ BRINGS MUSIC TO RESIDENTS’ EARS
The residents of Bupa’s Braid Hills nursing centre in Edinburgh will be serenaded by singer Geraldine McDade and pianist Andrew Thompson, on Tuesday 29 March at 2.30pm. The concert has been organised by Music in Hospitals (MiH), a leading charity that provides professionally performed live music in health and care settings throughout the UK. It’s ‘Musical Memories in Care Homes’ project offers live music from a variety of performers, styles and instruments to care home residents. Concerts so far have been hugely successful with a variety of resident groups, including people with dementia.
