Veidekke ASA: To build passive house school in Knivsta
Veidekke's subsidiary Arcona has been contracted by Kommunfastigheter in Knivsta to build Vrå School in Alsike south of Uppsala. The project is a collaborative turnkey contract with a target value of SEK 169 million, excluding VAT. Vrå School will be a new school for 660 pupils from the fifth to ninth grades. The building will have a floor area of approximately 8,000 m2 in size and will be so energy-efficient that it will comply with passive house standards.
