Telia increases network operating reliability with fuel cells

This summer TeliaSonera is launching an experimental project in which fuel cells will be used as a backup power system for the company’s telecom exchanges in Sweden. Boliden has implemented planned maintenance shutdowns and has also suffered a num-ber of unplanned production stoppages in both the Product Segments Zinc and Copper in Q2 2005. The interruptions to production have both reduced revenues from concen-trate sales and treatment and refining charges, and increased costs. Peab has been contracted to build one further part of national motor road 40, east of the city of Borås. The contract amounts to 95 Mkr and the client is the National Road Administration.
