Veidekke ASA: To build Egersund Wind Farm

Veidekke has signed a contract with Norsk Vind Egersund AS to build Egersund Wind Farm in Rogaland. This civil engineering contract comprises construction of a road network, cable conduits, foundations for wind turbines and a transformer building. The contract is worth NOK 190 million excluding VAT. Egersund Wind Farm will be built at Åseheia and Kolldalsheia in Eigersund municipality, a few kilometres east of Egersund town. The total electricity output from the 33 wind turbines is expected to be approximately 400 GWh, which corresponds to the consumption of 20,000 households or more
