Extended strike could close the Johan Sverdrup field
There is an ongoing strike on the Norwegian continental shelf, and the union Lederne has taken out 43 members at the Johan Sverdrup field, where Aker BP is a partner with 11.6 percent working interest. So far, production from the Johan Sverdrup field has not been affected by the strike. Equinor, the operator of Johan Sverdrup, has today announced that this situation would change if the strike continues into 14 October.
