NCC to construct high school in Lieto, Finland

NCC has signed an agreement with the City of Lieto to expand Taatila elementary school with a high school for approximately 500 students. The project is a turnkey contract, and the order value is approximately SEK 195 million. The new two-story school building will have a total area of approximately 8,000 square meters. On completion of the building, the current high school will be demolished and the schoolyard will be redeveloped. The school will accommodate students from grades 7 through 9. Project planning and design has already been completed and construction can now commence.

A register-based study from Finland identified three distinct BMI trajectory groups among patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes. In a four-year follow-up, most patients followed a stable trajectory without much weight change. Only 10% of patients lost weight, whereas 3% gained weight.
