Skanska widens highway in California, USA, for USD 96 M, about SEK 860 M
Skanska has signed a contract with Riverside County Transportation Commission to widen the highway State Route 60 in Riverside, California, USA. The contract is worth USD 96 M, about SEK 860 M, which will be included in US order bookings for the first quarter 2019.The project involves widening State Route 60 for about 7 kilometres (4.5 miles) to accommodate adding truck climbing lanes on the east and westbound sides. The inside and outside shoulders will be upgraded to standard widths and the existing asphalt concrete pavement will be upgraded to Jointed Plain Concrete Pavement.
