Artimplant launches rehabilitation study
ARTIMPLANT LAUNCHES REHABILITATION STUDY The National Swedish Board of Health and Welfare and Gothenburg's committee on research ethics have approved an application from Artimplant to conduct a series of operations using Artimplant's augmentation device for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. The series of operations, which will comprise 10 patients, is intended to study whether the use of the augmentation device allows more active rehabilitation and a return to physical activity and training as early as 4 - 5 months after the operation.
