Telia to expand mobile network coverage in Sweden using tips from 8,000 customers

Telia will increase the coverage of its mobile network in Sweden from 70 percent to 90 percent of the country over the next few years. Vestas Wind Systems, Vestas establishes blade factory in Tianjin, China

Vestas has received Business License for its first factory in China and has decided to set up a blade factory in Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA). The factory that will employ about 240 people will be set up as soon as possible. The first 39-metre blades for V80-2.0 MW turbines are expected to be delivered in first half of 2006. At full capacity the factory will be able to produce approx. 600 blades a year. Vestas’ investment in this factory totals around mEUR 25 (mUSD 30).

Electrolux divests Indian operation to Videocon and signs distribution agreement

Electrolux has today signed an agreement for divestment of its Indian appliance operation, including all three production facilities to Videocon, one of India’s largest industrial groups. The agreement involves a license for Videocon with the right to use the Electrolux brand in India for a period of five years, as well as the Kelvinator brand in India and selected markets for an unlimited time.
