Broadband network finished in Herrljunga with 99% penetration

The build-out of a new municipality-wide broadband network is now finished in Herrljunga, in southwest Sweden. The network, provided by TeliaSonera Network Sales, was officially inaugurated by the Municipality of Herrljunga on Wednesday, December 1. Approximately 99 percent of the municipality’s residents now have access to broadband service, of which 60 percent can have speeds up to 8 Mbit/s.Residents in the municipality are now free to choose one of the operators that will provide broadband services to consumers and companies through the new network. Broström’s latest newbuilding, named BRO ETIENNE earlier this month, has been delivered from the Chinese yard Jinling Shipyard. The vessel, which is a 37,300 dwt product tanker, is Broström’s first out of three ordered and is included in a series of six vessels Broström is building together with its partner Rigel Schiffahrts GmbH. The remaining three vessels will be delivered during 2005. PhotoCure - Hexvix® marketing application found fileable in 26 European countries

Oslo, Norway, 1 December 2004. PhotoCure ASA announces today that its European marketing authorisation application for Hexvix® for diagnosis of bladder cancer has been validated and found fileable in the European Mutual Recognition procedure in 26 EU/EEA countries. The procedure starts today, and each country has committed to take a decision to recognise the already approved Swedish application within 90 days. Skanska has been contracted to renovate the ventilation and safety facilities at East River Tunnels in New York.
