Dannemora Mineral seeks waiver

Dannemora Mineral issued a press release on 28 May stating that discussions would commence with bondholders on the terms and structure of its bonds. Since then, Dannemora Mineral has been engaged in constructive discussions with a group of bondholders holding approximately 71 percent of the bonds. Dannemora Mineral will be seeking a temporary waiver from the minimum liquidity covenant in the bond agreement (ISIN NO 0010601198), which requires it to maintain a minimum cash liquidity of 50 million kronor. Dannemora Mineral is likely to breach the covenant periodically during the third quarter.

Production Update

Average recovery from the sorting plant in the Dannemora mine has increased by at least 3 percentage points and is currently at a stable level of around 40 percent.Following investments in the sorting plant at the beginning of June, the average weekly recovery has reached, respectively, 39, 45, 44, 38 and 41 percent. These results indicate that the investment has had the intended effect, and that it has resulted in increased recovery of at least 3 percent and increased production capacity of approximately 5 percent.
