LUCARA ANNOUNCES KAROWE UNDERGROUND EXPANSION PROJECT UPDATE
Vancouver, BC, August 10, 2021 /CNW/ - (LUC – TSX, LUC – BSE, LUC – Nasdaq Stockholm) Lucara Diamond Corp. (“Lucara” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide an update on the Karowe Underground Expansion project (the “UGP”). The Karowe UGP is planned to extend the mine life to at least 2040 mining predominately from the highest value EM/PK(S) unit, and is forecasted to contribute approximately $4 billion in additional revenues, using conservative diamond prices, starting in 2026.
