Volvo trucks signs a new agreement in Iran
VOLVO TRUCKS SIGNS A NEW AGREEMENT IN IRAN Volvo Trucks has signed a new cooperative agreement with Saipa Diesel in Iran on the manufacture of heavy trucks. The aim is to produce 1,500 units a year. Since the early 1970s, Volvo Trucks has supplied more than 40,000 heavy trucks to Iran, giving the company a leading position on this market. In some years, Volvo's supplies to Iran have totalled between 4,000 and 5,000 heavy trucks a year.
