Operators are often too busy to source the quality parts they need to keep pay-loads moving and that can be a false economy.’ ‘Dealerships are usually just as competitive as other suppliers but more reliable and offer a premium support service that sets them apart from the competition. That’s why I am delighted to move to a truck dealership such as Chassis Cab that offers top quality service and the family business values that all fleet engineers and owner operators welcome and rely on.’
Paul Twilley, newly appointed Area Parts Sales Manager at Chassis Cab, Cambridge

He will be helping us to develop a customer-facing parts team that offers unrivalled experience and expertise.’ ‘Our aim as always is to help truck owners to achieve the lowest cost of ownership combined with the highest possible profit per mile. That leaves them to focus on expanding and enhancing their business – whatever that may be!’

‘The label and package printing sector is now seeing that the easiest trail to sustainability is linerless. This has moved from niche packaging to mainstream in a very short time. And it’s here to stay. We are now moving into the ready meals market, one that is showing unstoppable growth in every country year on year.’ ‘The UK is still possibly the most advanced country in Europe to produce chilled food packaging and we are proud to be at the forefront of this pioneering trend. Linerless labels bring less waste, less downtime and reduced transport costs. These changes make a substantial difference to a manufacturer’s profitability and sustainability rating and that’s why they are important. Ready meals are the way ahead as people find that they are time-poor above all things.’ ‘Linerless labelling is perfect for food packaging and now including fresh produce and bakery products - but we are moving into areas other than food packaging, like healthcare, household, motor care and toiletries. Delivery is a key element of the estate today and we will endeavour to expand our existing fleet of vehicles from four to many more as we grow the service we provide to ourselves and our customers. In these times of rigorous vehicle emissions legislation, all vehicles on the road need to be both green and clean. Drive Vauxhall and Chassis Cab have established a relationship where we work together simply and effectively to provide a polished service to truck drivers, who need quick and reliable support when they are on the road.’

Fix-a-Form® multi-page labels - in all their guises - do this simple job effortlessly - and there are many new ideas to come as the product continues to evolve over time.’

Graham Denny, previously Commercial Development Director for the company for over twenty years, said
“It is very rewarding for us to be able to help provide this support-livery to St Nicholas Hospice Care in addition to a regular donation from us for each mile that our parts van travels around the region. Our families, like all others, are acutely aware of the much-needed voluntary service that the Hospice offers and for this reason we are delighted to be able to help in this way. “This is our way of showing how much we care about the work that the hospice does. If we can keep the name in the minds of those who travel around the region, we hope that it will stimulate the offer of donations during the months and years ahead. And with the donation per mile support, hopefully it will be the gift that just keeps on giving!”
Chassis Cab, Dealer Principal Robert Baxter commented:
‘We are immensely proud of Andrew for winning the award of best ‘first year’ apprentice at the recent national skills assessment day. It shows he has what it takes to excel as a truck technician in the very first year of his training, and as such is a credit to the team here in Bury St Edmunds. His involvement with the Industry Apprenticeship Council will give him further insights into the world of training and development and should give him some exceptional communications qualities to serve him throughout his career.’

‘Nutraceutical products are not subject to the same testing and regulations as pharmaceutical drugs and often need introducing to the user-audience as they are brand new product concepts. To explain the benefits and instructions for use, and avoid misuse of the products, it is important for manufacturers to give as much information as possible with the product offering. Multi-page labels are helping to make these products safer to use by highlighting any potential health issues associated with their use, particularly when used in conjunction with other medicines or healthcare products.’
Stephen Jarrold, Sales and Marketing Director at Denny Bros said:
'This was a tremendous evening. It was great to meet with so many like minded people in the outrageous big boy’s toy shop that is Krazy Horse. So well worth the visit and the money raised was raised in the spirit of true gentlemen. Well done to the guys!’

‘We are extremely proud that ChassisCab is now operating in the city of Cambridge. We have been working with truck businesses in Cambridgeshire since 2006 when we acquired a DAF Trucks site in Isleham but this move takes us into the mainstream business community where business is encouragingly buoyant .’ ‘The transfer of the business has been seamless because there is almost complete synergy between the two dealerships. Our customers want quality trucks like the DAF Euro 6 LF, CF and XF that are high-performing, image-conscious and emissions-friendly. We supply the optimum trucks for the job and that’s what keeps our customers where they want to be – at the top of their game. ‘ ‘We are looking forward to developing new business in and around Cambridge, helping local, national and international companies to prosper and grow.’

Speaking about Ravenwood’s steady-growth within the US market, founder and MD Paul Beamish said: ‘The label and package printing sector in the US is now becoming increasingly aware of the benefits of linerless labels. They bring less waste, less downtime when changing rolls as linerless rolls contain twice as many labels in the same diameter as the self-adhesive equivalent and reduced transport costs. Just this one change can make a difference to a manufacturer’s costs and sustainability rating which is why there is so much current interest in the technology.’
