KIDS GO WILD WITH JUNGLE CREATURES
News release 16th May 2012Youngsters from The Old Station Nursery have been getting up close to jungle critters as part of their learning about the natural world. The children were given a chance to touch and hold a variety of animals native to rainforests thanks to a visit from Walter Morfitt from Animal EDUtainment. Exotic creatures included a tarantula called Grace, a cockroach, a giant millipede, a snake called Queen Bess, a horned frog, a crested gecko and many more. Nursery Manager Jackie Taylor said: “We are always looking for new ways to help the children learn about
