Nordnet appeals the rejection decision from the Swedish Financial Supervisory authority

The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (SFSA) decided on 25 May to issue a remark and an administrative fine of SEK 100 million to Nordnet. The case was originally initiated in March 2021 and concerns internal governance and control in relation to intraday short-selling transactions. Nordnet has appealed the decision. The SFSA has rejected Nordnet’s appeal as they are of the opinion that the appeal was submitted too late.On 21 June, Nordnet submitted an appeal against the SFSA’s sanction decision to the Administrative Court of Stockholm. Major new solar park in southern Sweden enters operation

One of Sweden’s largest solar parks, located near Åhus in Skåne, has now entered operation. It is the size of 8 football fields and produces approximately 8 GWh of electricity a year, which is enough to power 1,600 houses. The investment is a joint initiative between Nolato, electricity company Bixia and solar energy company Alight.Construction of the solar farm began last autumn and the project came about via a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between Nolato, Bixia and Alight.
