POINT INFRARED GAS DETECTOR HAS OBTAINED APPROVAL FOR USE IN THE US MINING INDUSTRY
The mining version of the point infrared gas detector GD10P has now been MSHA (Mining Safety and Health Agency) approved for use in the US mining industry. GD10PM already hold approvals for Europe and South Africa. GD10PM will be used directly on mining machinery, and is the only IR gas detector approved for this usage, due the immunity to vibration of the semiconductor infrared light source used by GD10PM. The system will be a significant improvement compared to the current technology used in mines, both for safety and maintenance cost. For further information please contact: Claus Fossum,
